Shauna Glover writes: "We are holding a benefit for my cousin, Jason Latham. He is 14 years old and was just recently diagnosed with brain cancer. He is currently going through treatment at Strong Memorial and has acquired several large hospital bills.We are trying to raise money for the family to lessen this large burden. We will be having a Stearn's chicken dinner for $8, a Chinese auction, a bake sale, Ade Adu will be opening from 1-2:30, Anton and Dominic will be playing from 2:30-5, and Meat Cutter's Union will be wrapping up the evening 5-til? There will be "Friends of Jason" t-shirts for sale for $10 (2X for $11). Chicken dinner ticket sales will close Monday (4/4/11) morning.
